correct that people always find it hard to accept high figures for their cars when one tries to sell. I don't think anyone ever gets "all" their money back. It seems that to strip the car first of mods and sell them separately recovers the most money. I have done all the work to my car myself and I still have over $25,000 spent. I know I would never get that for it and accept that my Z is not an investment. It's a hobby and hobbies are expensive. I hope he can get what he is asking and it's clear he has the money in it. I think the "sticker shock" would keep us all from buying our own cars if we had to purchase them for what we have in them.
